Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do. In short: we only hold what you send us through the booking form, and we do not track you.

What we collect

Only what you type into the booking form: your name, email address, phone number, company (optional), the discipline and budget range you select, your preferred date and time, and any message you add.

We do not collect anything automatically. This site does not use analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or session recording. We do not build a profile of you and we do not know you visited unless you contact us.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange the call you requested. That is the only purpose. We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we never sell or rent them.

How it reaches us

The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party relay that turns the submission into an email. Your details pass through their servers in transit and arrive in our inbox. We do not store submissions in a database on this site — there is no database, and no server of ours involved.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep ordinary business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email oshun@methodesign.com and we will act within 30 days.

If you are in California, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information. If you are in the UK or EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR give you equivalent rights, and our lawful basis for handling your enquiry is legitimate interest in responding to you.

Links to other sites

Our footer links to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Those are separate companies with their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover what they do once you land there.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date below. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

Cookie Settings

There is nothing to configure here, and we would rather say so plainly than show you a consent banner that does nothing.

This site sets no cookies

No cookies, no local storage, no session storage. Nothing is written to your device by this site and nothing persists between visits. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

No analytics or tracking

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising or attribution tag, and no heat mapping or session recording. We genuinely do not measure visitors.

No third-party content loads with the page

Typefaces, video and imagery are all served from this domain, so opening the site does not call out to anyone else. Two exceptions, both under your control:

The social links in the footer only contact Instagram, Facebook or TikTok if you click them.
The booking form only contacts our delivery provider at the moment you press send.

If that ever changes

If we later add analytics or embedded third-party content, we will publish a real consent control here and ask before anything is set. Until then this page exists to tell you there is nothing running.

Controlling cookies generally

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies for any site under its privacy or settings menu. Nothing you do there will affect how this site behaves.

Accessibility Statement

We want this site to be usable however you browse it. Here is what we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

What we aim for

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are not claiming full conformance — this is a statement of intent and of current status, not a certificate.

What is in place

A skip link to jump straight past the navigation to the main content.
Keyboard access throughout, with a visible focus outline on everything interactive.
Dialogs marked up as dialogs: focus moves in when they open, is trapped while they are open, returns to where you were on close, and Escape always closes.
Semantic landmarks and headings so screen readers can navigate by structure.
Form fields with real labels, required fields marked, and errors announced and tied to the field they belong to.
Text that scales when you zoom, and layouts that reflow rather than break.
Respect for your system "reduce motion" setting: turn it on and the scroll animations, the moving backgrounds and the cursor effects stop.
Video is muted and loops silently; nothing plays audio without you asking.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than pretend they do not exist:

The site is motion-heavy by design. Reduce-motion turns this off, but if your browser does not report that preference you will still see it.
Some secondary text is small and low contrast against black, and may fall short of AA at those sizes.
The booking calendar is a custom control. It works with Tab and Enter, but does not yet support arrow-key navigation between dates.
The hero replaces the pointer with a custom cursor on desktop. It is decorative and does not affect keyboard or screen reader use.
Project images carry brief alternative text rather than full descriptions of the artwork.

We are a small studio that behaves like part of your team.

Methodesign is fourteen people in Santa Monica, working across brand, digital and motion. We are deliberately small — the people you meet in the pitch are the people who do the work, and there is no layer of account management between you and them.

How we work

01 — Start with the constraint: Budget, timeline, the thing legal will never approve. We would rather design inside the real limits than present something that dies in week three.
02 — Show work early, unpolished: You see rough thinking in week one, not a reveal in week six. It is less theatrical and considerably less risky.
03 — Build it, do not just draw it: Design systems ship as code. Identities ship with the templates, the guidelines and the awkward edge cases already solved.
04 — Leave you able to run it: Every engagement ends with a handover session and documentation your team can actually use without calling us.
